Minibar (2006)
MINIBAR

MINIBAR
Every night should have a swimming pool
With mambo waves
And sheets of caribbean wind in our face.
Organge lights onto the palm trees and sweet coconut.
A Cuban Chopin playing around the corner
Is all what we need.
Life is a perfect and empty hotel, with waves
Where we empty out the minibar so that we may have to pay later, painfully.
I breathe this swimming pool from ninety eighty two
And I try to forget that all my aunts are dead now
And all those with whom I sat around to talk with
With white russian and gratinated paté
And i am here, in hiatus
feeling that being here is nothing other than
Being with the others in that time where I barely was there.
