Estacionamientos / Parking Zones was my first solo exhibition in Mexico City, taking place at the now defunct space Tallería in Colonia Roma. For this exhibition I created the work of 14 fictional artists along with descriptions, biographies and texts of each one of them. It was an exhibition of Heteronyms, a homage to the work of Fernando Pessoa but with the desire to engage in the current climate of identity politics in the art world.  Within the space the visitors were not informed that these were not real artists.  The exhibition essay “A true disquietude” was written by art historian James Elkins.
